The project is an album design that reflects on the contemporary pop music industry. With the empty concept, wordy but meaningless name, maximalism design, and visual-driven images, we created an almost flawless “idol”, agencies maximize their profits since fans are expecting a perfect image. By producing this album, we expose the common phenomenon within the East Asian entertainment industry: monetizing artists as depersonalized, homogeneous products.
